Paul Beam is a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2000-2004. He has a family that includes three sons, two step-daughters and his wife of four years. Most of Paul’s career has been in management, and human relations, but The last four years Paul has been studying, and is a recent graduate of Concordia University where obtained his B.A. in Communication, Religious Education, and Psychology. Paul founded ManCamp in 2015 and as a result, formed the True North organization in 2016. Paul’s childhood and life choices have led him down a path where he now feels it is his duty to call men to a higher standard of living lives with purpose and intentionality; lives of service to others rather than service to self. As the president and founder of True North and ManCamp, Paul is responsible for the overall function, operations, growth, and management of True North.
Barney is a psychiatrist whose primary work for the past twenty years has been delivery of counseling and psychiatric consultation to members of the international missionary community. Often Barney finds both the need of and sees the benefit of having a location for rest, renewal, and restoration in a peaceful setting. Barney is excited to be part of True North Ministries and its vision to provide such an opportunity to men from all over the world.
Rob has spent the last 20 years on active duty in the Army. He retired in 2019 as a Lt. col and has since taken on a leadership role with the Dell Corporation. while leading a team at Dell he is also completing his PHd. Rob joined the True North board in 2016 and has since played a role in helping organize and speak at the mancamp events.
